Our staff consists of therapist, case managers, peer support specialist, WHAM specialist, anger management specialists, pastors, etc. who work with us on a pro-bono status. Through the years we have formed relationships with mental health services providers, medical doctors, churches/food banks, psychiatrists, and other community resources as referrals for the services we cannot provide to our participants.
We assist with transportation to and from medical appointments, shopping, NA/SA meetings, etc. using our own personal vehicles or MARTA cards from community partners. We are seeking donations to purchase transportation and eliminate the use of our personal vehicles and liability. Or in acceptance of vehicles being donated to us.
Our pro-bono staff also educate the target population on HIV/AIDS prevention, healthy eating, health/wellness, medication compliance, budgeting, increased services toward mental health & substance abuse, computer skills etc.; All which is needed to live normal productive lives.
Most of our populations does not have family and for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Labor Day, Fourth of July we provide meals to the participants.
Toys are given to children thru our affiliation with Toys for Tots.
Bingo is played at senior facilities where prizes consist of items that could be used for everyday living necessities.
